Chocolate and Sparkling Wine Dinner at Le Bec-Fin

Treat your honey to a five-course chocolate-infused menu paired with sparkling and still wines at one of the most romantic places in the city. First course is pan-seared diver scallop with caramelized white chocolate, grapefruit and white asparagus; second is roasted breast of squab stuffed with chocolate foie gras touched with chili and bitter chocolate, followed by a cheese and chocolate course, "pre-dessert" featuring textures of milk chocolate, and the grand finale, a Venezuela chocolate soup with marinated pineapple, star anise, almond crouton and pineapple chips with assorted bon bons. Valentine's Day Brunch at Bistro St. Tropez

Bistro St. Tropez's three-course menu includes choices like fruits de mer oysters on the half shell, a lobster, brie and asparagus crepe and challah French toast. Who knows, maybe you'll be able to tell your grandkids someday about finding true love over a plate of duck leg confit (with roasted fingerling potatoes, leeks, spinach and fried organic egg). Vegan Five-Course Dinner at Horizons

Tuck in to a cruelty-free dinner at Horizons, where gourmet vegan cuisine is the game.Their V-Day menu features truffled celery root soup, warm endive salad with pickled beet dressing and seitan horseradish crepe, wild mushroom and cauliflower risotto and saffron- and olive oil- poached tofu with winter vegetable "linguini." Turkish Buffet at Café Fulya

The owners of Café Fulya have organized this evening to encourage singletons to meet and mingle, though couples are welcome too. The all-you-can-eat spread will include Turkish meatballs in tomato sauce and a good deal of vegetarian choices, like rice pilaf, shepherd salad, grilled mashed eggplant salad, artichokes with lima beans, tabouli, red cabbage salad, white bean salad, hummus, spinach pie and baklava.
